Băneasa Mill is equipped with cutting-edge technology provided by the world leader in food industry equipment - BUHLER (Switzerland). The mill has advanced equipment specialized in sorting different types of meal and different grittinesses, thus having the ability to produce the best flour for our pasta.
The closed, fully automated and computer assisted technologic process, as well as the strict policy of selecting the suppliers and cereals used as raw material, ensures the highest degree of quality and food safety.
In addition to the standard equipment, the laboratory is equipped with high performance devices that allow us to align to European standards: Chopin Alveograph to determine the rheological properties of dough, Chopin, the pilot mill for rapid procurement of wheat flour from wells; Brabender farinograph which is providing additional guidance on dough rheology and the equipment for determining amylase activity by determining the “index drop”.
Băneasa Mill successfully passed all the tests required to obtain certifications for organic products. The mill has been certified organic by ECOCERT (code ROECO-007) through certificate no. 7288RO1200Z1r issued on 04/12/2012.
